Jenn at Bar M Mini Aussies sold me on getting my dog from her long before I ever saw the puppies!

Jenn used to work for a vet and her desire to raise healthy dogs over pretty dogs came through loud and clear on our first meeting. She asked me as many questions as I did her. Her commitment to placing her dogs in the right homes is second to none. Once we had interviewed each other, I let her know that I was looking for a very specific dog to be my Emotional Support Dog. Jenn introduced me to Dutch and Katie, the parents of the litter. Dutch is a gorgeous blue merle with ghost eyes and Katie is a perfect example of what a black tri should be! They have the run of the ranch and live the best dog’s life out there! We went in to meet the puppies and while I was hoping for a blue merle, in a very short period of time a little black tri called Emily had made it clear that she wanted me to pick her. She kept untying my shoelaces; forcing me to get down to her level so she could show me the love. I did over a year of research on different breeds and targeted mini Aussies for their intelligence, demeanour and size; which would allow them to travel with me on airlines. Training with Emily has gone so well for Emotional Support Dog that we are now training for full Service Dog status. Emily saved my life with her love and attention. We go everywhere together and share a bond that goes beyond family; as she is now considered a medical necessity for me. I have enjoyed my experience with Jenn and Bar M Mini Aussies so much I am looking to go back for a blue merle so Emily has a playmate.
